I’ve seen better – but worse too

Convenient for exploring Puglia by car. The staff was incredibly friendly! ! Breakfast on the terrace was a standout highlight, bursting with variety and delicious options.

Some amenities felt outdated and unkempt, especially the bathrooms, which were disappointing. The mattress was uncomfortably hard, leading to restless nights.

The rooftop restaurant serves up fantastic meals that are perfect for sunset views, and the breakfast buffet is a culinary delight featuring one of the best cups of coffee I had in Europe. You can't go wrong with their tasty salads—each bite's a flavor explosion!

Our room was just adequate—tiny bathroom and no dresser meant living out of a suitcase for a week. Plus, being under the breakfast area made early mornings a tad noisy, but the lively atmosphere kept the spirit up.

Upon arrival, I was welcomed by indifferent staff who ignored us completely. The service encountered during breakfast was appalling, with empty trays and no one attending to them for a significant time. Moreover, the WiFi hardly worked, making it frustrating to stay connected.

The breakfast was a game-changer! They had everything from hard boiled eggs, meats and cheeses for sandwiches, to fresh fruits and delicious pastries. It felt like each morning was a celebration! The rooftop view was lovely, and just sitting there was a highlight of my stay.

The experience was elevated by the superb breakfast on the terrace, where a variety of dishes, including delicious fresh juices, were served. While the room was spacious and comfortable, the shower design felt cramped for taller guests. Although the hotel's location best suits those with a vehicle, the staff’s warmth and the enjoyable dining experience made for a memorable stay. The nearby beach was less appealing, but alternative spots like Mama Luna Beach provided a much better beach experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Barion Hotel & Congressi. The breakfast on the terrace was a delightful experience, showcasing an impressive array of fresh options. The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel truly welcomed during our time there.
